As you can see it is a very delicate item, so it should be treated care!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Black-Crowned Night Heron is the most recent Heron that I have encountered lately, somehow even more than the Great Blue Heron! There is a pair that was living primarily at a pond near my home and they were probably the calmest Herons I've ever seen, they were just hanging out in the trees that overhang the pond! They really didn't get spooked by much at all. They kind of look like little vampires and I really like that a lot. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNote: my bird models are not necessarily made to a specific scale\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eYou may notice there are 2 little wire dots on the bottom of the base of the bird and that is because the way I glaze fire the birds is by inserting a wire hook into the base (the lump of clay the bird is standing on) and hang it upside down in the kiln (on a rig) so that it keeps the bird nice and straight while firing.
